We started out with little: Seven month winters, strong midwest handshakes, apathetic teachers, and a fire inside that told us we were meant for more. And so we were supposed to move on, give up, give in. Well we didn’t.
We love our families but we’re not doing this for them. We have nothing to prove. We’ll take the money, we really could use it. But it’s not about that either.
We do this because we have to. Because the inferno in our guts and the cold shivers on our shoulders remind us every second of every day that our happiness comes from creating. And sharing.
